Charles, unsure what to do, just put an arm around his wife, and wept as well. Anger and hatred built up inside him. When they found the children, he was going to tear their kidnappers throats out.
It felt like she hit a brick wall. The scent was there and then...Nothing. Gone. Completely. Pilgrim came to a shuddering stop. She searched around frantically, nose to the air, searching searching....
