Batty was right, it does feel more like home this way. Well, I am not going to change the text color, but just having the black background is nice. Homey. Nostalgic.
So here I am in Franklin, TN. This morning I thought I was going to have to stay home after all. I missed my train by 5 min!! I was supposed to ride it to the west side of the state to meet Chandor and carpool the rest of the way. 5 minutes. I was so upset.
I got back to my house and sat down at the computer, trying to figure out how I was going to get things to the people I had promised them to, and the phone rang. It was Chandor and within 5 minutes I had changed my mind and decided to find another way to get over there and meet him. I had 4 hours to figure it out and make a 3 hour journey.
My car didn't exactly behave, but I made it and beat him by about 15 minutes. We loaded up and off we went.
Let me tell you, he is one sweet guy and very easy to talk to. I don't think we ran out of things to say until the outskirts of Nashville. That is 10 hours of talking, if you were wondering. Don't worry, I did listen occasionally, too. *wink*
He and Michal headed back to the airport a bit ago to pick up Ben. Leanna and KC (my roomies) should be here anytime, now. I cannot wait to meet them face to face and give them big hugs!!
I don't know what is in store for this weekend, but connecting with old friends and meeting new ones will be the best thing about it. I cannot believe that from that little group of insane people that met me in Nashville two years ago, this thing has exploded. Its gonna be great! And Hope, if you are out there, thanks for getting the ball rolling in the first place!

Regrettably, it is not a Family Christian, but a Parable store. (We're about 2 minutes away from a Family Christian, though). Makes for some good competition.
