Welcome, Meli!

I finally figured out how to customize my page. Yippie! Now I've just got to figure out the trick to keep from loosing what I change. Save doesn't always seem to work....

Time for the bio. I really hate this part. I'm a homeschooling stay at home mom of three. Two boys ages 10 (Duncan) and 5 (Dave--the cutie in the picture) and a 7 year old girl (Rebekah). All three have a Pervasive Development Disorder (aka Autistic Spectrum disorder) to some degree, so at times life can be rather interesting. They've taught me a lot, though, about God, His plans, and his gifts and talents. While some would like to change them, I'd rather help them to adapt to a world they don't truly understand in order for them to become what God created them to be.

I love to read. Obviously Ted is one of my favorite authors. I also dearly enjoy Eric Wilson and Robert Liparulo. My other hobby are marine aquariums. I currently have a 240 gallon aquarium complete with a Dori (Regal Tang), pair of Nemos (Clown fish, though mine are gold and maroon instead of orange and white), and will soon be adding a Gill (Morish Idol). My favorites are my Emperor Angel and Porcupine Puffer. The aquarium is my relaxation. I also enjoy hiking, but the DFW area doesn't offer much in scenery or hiking trails. So every couple of years I try to make a trip to Sedona, AZ and enjoy climbing their beautiful red rock formations.

Hey Meli! I just saw your bio at the top and noticed that all three of your kids have PDD. Wow! My younger brother has PDD-NOS and I cannot even begin to what it must be like for you! I think it's amazing that you can handle all of them! Anyways, take care and God Bless!

Hi, Meli. I just wanted you to know that my reply in the Tiller thread was not really directed at specific individuals as it was at the larger group as a whole... And no one is more surprised at this stance than I. If you've followed my debates on the subject at all, you would know that I abhor abortion in all forms and can find no justification in it.

I don't know why I have taken such a firm stance on this issue, and I can't explain it. It's just something I feel in my spirit.

Peace be unto you, and blessed be your travels.

Hey Meli - I got the books! Thank you so much!! It took me a while to pick them up from the PO. Every time I got there, they were already closed.

I enjoy watching Beck. I find his topics interesting. As far as bashing earth day....Earth day has turned into greenie day and greenie day removes all rights of human beings to give over to critters. My sister-in-law worked for the EPA, she also did…

umm, first thing, the bible has very little account of the Nephilim, vampires, so Ted can and is writing anything he wants on the subject. Now I have a theory, could it be that the other Earth is the new world where Satan comes back to tempt man af…

Well, Barrak Obama has a high dissaproval rating as well, but he's still extremely popular... I have no idea what that's about. All I know is this; 360 is a wonderful system, Wii is a wonderful system, and PS3, I'm not sure. I haven;t encountered it…

I can't think of a better way to spend a sick day. I actually would skip my music lecture tomorrow and stay home to play if I didn't have a group project to work on. I actually did the opposite. I beat the Shiva Sisters on the first try and it took…

Hey, I'm willing to play anything too. I just need quality in my games. All I'm trying to say is that Nintendo currently has an average review score (for all publish and rated games on the Wii) that hovers around the 5.0 mark (fact), compared to the…
