I'm planning on it, but I haven't even outlined my novel idea or anything. Meant to start last month, but didn't.
Are you in? If so, tell us: your genre, if you've written a novel before, if you need accountability.
You can have buddies on the NaNo site, and you can see their word count progress. Last year, Leanna graciously allowed us to use a chat room to have Word Wars in. It really helped me out the times I did it.
And on the seventh day God rested. Consider giving your MC a brief respite from the turmoil. Perhaps an unexpected friend? Or a sudden song and dance number?
Day 7 Word Boosters brought to you by Disney’s friendly talking animals and catchy theme songs
My charries will get a rest because I can't contact them. I only wrote 349 yesterday, because of stupid College Writing paper, and I even voluntarilly relinquished my journal--*see little stabs of pain through heart* Plus I have a wedding to attend today and other stuff all this month.
But I have nice, totally violent and somewhat vampirish female a la Janae in Green showing up to my somewhat grief-stricken MMC after he betrayed his girlfriend and her parents. And he killed his girlfriend's father with the guy's own sword...ah, all my charries somehow belong in Bedlam.
Anyone interested in some Word Wars tonight? I won't be home til close to 11:30 EST but I would love the prodding to up my word count. It would be a dream come true to hit 10,000 by the end of week one of NaNo. Of course I'd be counting words written tonight as "Saturday" until I sleep =-D!
Right about now, there should be another twist in the plot. A “he knows that I know that you told them that she thinks that we know…” moment, maybe? Or maybe a fuzzy white bat gives you a new mission? Or maybe your crush declares his/her love for you as you escape Saudi Arabia on a jet plane?
Day 8 Word Boosters brought to you by the President of the United States and a polka dot door
I'm officially backed out. Sorry, folks. I really tried to make it happen this year, but I just don't have enough time to find enough energy to go for it. I gave it a good week's try, and I'm not going to spend this next month, perhaps the most difficult of my entire academic career, pulling my own teeth.
I don't think so. However, we need to have choice to truly do good. Why else would there have been a forbidden tree in the garden of Eden. So, we don't need to see evil, we just have to have the option of choosing it.
its a bond between people that goes beyond just a fiendship, its when you are happy every time you see them and you are willing o go out on a limb for them and ou want to make them happy. thats my opinion
