I'm getting really excited about this new ABC series coming in the fall. The teasers during the season finale of LOST piqued my interest, but now that I've done more research on it, I can't wait. (And I know I was saying the same thing about Fringe this time last year, but I really don't see how they could screw up a story like this.)

For 2 minutes and 17 seconds, every human on the earth blacks out. During that time, they have a vision of themselves 6 months in the future. They have to figure out what this is, what caused it, and what it means before April 29--when the future they saw will finally catch up with them.

The trailers look epic. It's shot in HD. David Goyer (of Dark Knight, among others) is behind it. So is one of the producer from 24.

Here's one of the many sites: http://flashforwardtv.com/

It's loosely based off a 1999 novel of the same name. They actually enlisted the help of the author, Robert J. Sawyer, in re-writing and revamping it for today's television audience, and he likes what they've done with it. If an author likes a book-to-movie adaptation, that says a lot, doesn't it? I'll be reading the book soon and hopefully watching this when it debuts Thursday, September 24.

At first I thought you meant that amazing Disney channel original series from the late 90's

But this looks good too.

Found a cool site dealing with this: The Mosaic Collective. People all over the world have shared their visions to help piece together a cohesive picture of the future. What did you see?

I watched it earlier, and I can't say that I was planning on starting a new series from the beginning, but after seeing the first episode I will definitely be tuning in next week either on tv or online. Despite the fact that people have been saying that the show is a replacement for Lost, and that the "Flashforward" concept and a few of the characters are from Lost, the show seemed more similar to the first season of Heroes to me. The characters weren't really developed, but the idea behind the show is so intriguing that character development doesn't matter as much (yet), and that is where a draw the comparison to Heroes. The amount of questions raised in the pilot, and the different ways they could take the story make FlashForward worth tuning into next week, at least.

I'm not sure what you mean Seth. I haven't seen FlashForward yet (we get in a few days time) but it looks different to Heroes. Also, Heroes was very much about character development (well, the first season at least, then it became more of a story and more of a muddled mess).

I must say that FlashForward is looking very promising. Of course, the next few episodes will tell, but I definitely think this is going to be another show I'm addicted to. No, the characters aren't great yet, but it's only been one episode; how well can we expect to know them? I'm really excited to see where they are going to take the story, at least. And the mini-preview of the entire season at the end was amazing, let me just say that. Definitely going to continue to watch this one...

So, Hulu doesn't have this mini preview, and I can't find it anywhere...

umm, first thing, the bible has very little account of the Nephilim, vampires, so Ted can and is writing anything he wants on the subject. Now I have a theory, could it be that the other Earth is the new world where Satan comes back to tempt man af…

Well, Barrak Obama has a high dissaproval rating as well, but he's still extremely popular... I have no idea what that's about. All I know is this; 360 is a wonderful system, Wii is a wonderful system, and PS3, I'm not sure. I haven;t encountered it…
